Stanley Bollard has been assured that he will be considered for the job after he finishes school.

A six-year-old boy, named Stanley Bollard, has applied for the opening of a model designer at Legoland. Stanley saw the vacancy announced by the Company and wrote an adorable application offering his candidature.

The application read “Dear Sir/Madam, I am six years old and I love Lego. I have a box of it. I hide my Lego so my brother can't get it. I am the man [for] the job because I have lots of experience. Love Stanley.”

The management was impressed by Bollard’s hand-written application although he didn’t fulfill the job requirement. They responded by saying that they agreed he did appear to have the key skills and they would love to have him on the board as soon as he finishes school.

Legoland's reply read— “It sounds like you have lots of Lego already and we agree that it's a great idea to keep it safe in a box — that way mummies and daddies won't tread on it. Our model makers have to keep their Lego organised too and they sort it into colours and sizes. Maybe you could let your brother share your Lego if he promises to keep it tidy. Loving Lego is the first step to being a model maker, so it certainly sounds like you'll be perfect for the job (once you've finished school of course).”

Bollard has a whole box of Lego and is experienced in using the same. The Company recognised the fact that he is fond of Lego and just loves it.

The company had ádvertised asking for applicants interested in or having knowledge of Lego and creation of Lego models.  The selected candidates were offered discounts of 40 per cent on Lego kits.

Bollard was invited by Legoland for a day of work placement at the Windsor theme park. He got a chance to see the park and to learn how the model makers repair their constructions.

Bollard was very happy with the theme park visit and said "It was awesome to spend the whole day at Legoland meeting the model makers and learning all about what they do every day. I loved it and I can't wait to tell all my friends about it at school."

The management at the Legoland were impressed by his passion to work for Legoland.
