HR-One promises to fulfill multiple HR Management functions through a single tool.

The benefits of HRIS (human resources information system) to companies are common knowledge, but the secret to each company’s best strategy depends on identifying the correct system that meets the needs of the business and fits its budget. There are several options out there, and more being developed. The choice one makes is typically need-based, as long as the pocket permits.

HR-One promises to serve as a single tool for fulfilling multiple criteria of HR management. It claims to track the complete life cycle of the employee from recruitment to separation functions on a secure and easy-to-navigate portal.

Best practices and processes are also brought to the table with an easy to use web-based interface. It is a scalable solution that allows the HR manager to customise HR modules to suit his/her needs. The best part, it claims to be affordable so that it fits into the budget of SMBs.

Piyush Jain, founder and managing director, Uneecops Technologies, the company that has launched this tool, says, “We analysed the market and found that in the HR domain there are either small solutions or very expensive solutions available. We concluded that there is no good product for SMBs which is high in features, and at the same time, available at an affordable price. This made us create a multiple industry integrated HRM solution within a realistic price.”

Not every company is similar in size, industry, budget, and business need. Based on this understanding, HR-One offers different product levels to ensure that all clients have the product that meets their needs. “We priced each level competitively so that it is affordable yet extremely robust. This in-house, 100 per cent web-accessible tool is highly configurable, paperless, and process-oriented. Through highly flexible parameterisation, a company can now have up to 90 per cent of its HR automation requirements met without the need for customisation. The configurability goes a long way in reducing the cost and time required to implement an HRMS,” says Jain.

Keeping up with the growth in business and use of mobile devices, HR-One has also developed HRMS mobile apps to accommodate a workforce that demands access to the information they need around the clock.

The product caters to companies spanning all sizes, be it SMB or large enterprises, through varied delivery models. The on–premise model is most suitable for large enterprises having already invested in the IT infrastructure and team to manage it. Software as a service/cloud or the SaaS model of delivery, meanwhile, allows users to simply access the HRIS service through the Internet, with the vendor providing remote access. This has evolved into an attractive option, chiefly because it can be a major cost-saver. Another option, of course, is to outsource HR in its entirety. A large percentage of rapidly growing small- and medium-sized businesses have been turning to this alternative in recent years, and HR-One covers this aspect as well.

HR-One also puts all critical data into the hands of HR Managers and decision makers, and alerts them to make mission capital decisions for the organisation. It automates the entire HR cycle and improves productivity inside the organisation.

Recruitment-to-Separation is the concept behind HR-One solutions, built for small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs) to handle global HR benefits, leave and absence management, talent and performance management, succession planning, workforce collaboration, reporting, and social feedback. Customers can deploy HR-One as a standalone solution or integrate it with any ERP for unified visibility of operational performance.
