The job portal specialises in providing employment in the informal sector.

Babajob.com, a Bengaluru-based job portal for the grey-collared and blue-collared workforce, has roped in Rishi Dogra as CMO. Dogra moves from PepsiCo India, where he was head-digital.

Dogra will lead end-to-end marketing for Babajob, with a focus on building new marketing capabilities in line with the overall transition and expansion of the business.

He will also manage teams responsible for conducting multi-channel marketing campaigns to provide compelling value propositions and market-specific solutions, while simultaneously strengthening partnerships with existing clientele.

Bharani Setlur, chief business officer, Babajob, says, “Dogra has the proven ability to take strategic decisions, ensure disciplined execution and deliver results.”

An alumnus of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, Dogra comes with experience in new-age marketing, consumer engagement, digital marketing, sports activation and integrated marketing communications.

In his previous role at PepsiCo, he assisted several digital and integrated campaigns across brands and has received accolades for his work.

Babajob specialises in providing jobs for delivery boys, office staff, drivers, cooks, maids, security guards, beauticians, receptionists, etc. In addition, it places candidates into entry-level positions in the formal sector including sales, management, finance, engineering, IT, BPO and teaching. As an added service, personal growth and professional development opportunities through training partners are offered.

A social enterprise, Babajob works on a scalable, replicable, profitable solution to help fight/alleviate poverty by creating radical efficiency in the informal job market. It is backed by technology, innovative mechanisms and a proprietary technical algorithm to connect the right talent with the right employer.

Babajob.com has over 350 employees with a purposefully expanding workforce, to support growth and market penetration as the company continues to grow, rapidly and scale operations.
