Schneider Electric, a global energy management and automation company, has inaugurated one of its largest employee campuses at Bagmane Solarium City, Bengaluru. The campus launched today, 31 May, 2024, will accommodate over 8,000 professionals.
Spanning about 6,30,000 square feet, this cutting-edge campus includes a global innovation hub, training centre, R&D centre, skill centrer and digital hub.
This new facility highlights Schneider Electric’s commitment to being an employer of choice by offering world-class infrastructure that fosters collaboration, development and the delivery of industry-leading solutions. It also underscores the company’s “Make in India for India and for the world” initiative, reflecting continued investments in manufacturing, innovation, workforce development and research.
This inovation hub will offer an immersive experience integrating all Schneider Electric offerings, demonstrating how sustainability goals can be transformed into tangible actions through automation, electrification and digitisation. This holistic approach highlights the company’s dedication to sustainable practices and outcomes.
The campus will also host a training centre, offering interactive demonstrations, workshops, and expert-led sessions, providing employees, partners, and customers with practical knowledge of the latest technologies and solutions. It aims to foster a learning culture with advanced technologies and infrastructure.
In line with its sustainability goals, the Bengaluru campus is designed to prioritise sustainability with features like off-site green power, energy-efficient chiller systems, and 100 per cent greywater reuse via a sewage treatment plant. The campus has applied for LEED Gold certification, and the interior fit-out is striving for LEED Platinum certification, demonstrating Schneider Electric’s commitment to international sustainability standards and excellence in sustainable building practices.
