Former head of learning and organisation development, Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company, Manjith Mohan, has now joined IndiaFirst Life as head-culture and transformation.
Mohan, who has completed an MBA in change management and organizational behaviour from Nottingham University Business School, has worked with ICICI Bank for almost six years in the initial part of his career. He was manager-training and development, Rural Finance Group, for three years, from 2005 to 2009, before being elevated to senior manager-channel development, alternate channel and branch banking, for about three years.
In 2012, he moved to Kotak Mahindra Bank, as chief manager, learning and development. A year and a half later, he was promoted to the position of associate vice president-organisational learning. His tenure at Kotak Mahindra lasted just over four and a half years.
The year 2016 saw him taking up the role of head-learning and development, IIFL (India Infoline Group). The next four years and seven months were spent trying to co-create and build cutting edge digital L&D and OD initiatives for IIFL Finance, IIFL Home Finance, IIFL Securities and 5 Paisa Capital.
It was in July 2021 that he joined Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company, as head-learning and organisation development.
Now, at IndiaFirst Life, Mohan will be tasked with crafting an employee experience which will enable every employee to live and experience the company’s employee value proposition, ensure a connected ecosystem comprising a culture of happiness and passion. He will also look into talent management and sustainable succession plans, in addition to diversity equity and inclusion, and other HR aspects.
