Volvo Group has elevated Radhika Nair to head-people & culture, India, effective 1 July, 2024. Nair joined the Group in 2021 as its director-HR.
In her new capacity, Nair will have comprehensive, end-to-end responsibility for the people & culture function, including rewards, labour & employee relations, talent strategy, talent acquisition, people operations, international mobility and learning & development. Additionally, she will be a member of the India country management & leadership team.
Nair brings over two decades of extensive experience to the table. Prior to joining the Volvo Group, she held several positions within the HR function at Accenture, spearheading development and execution of talent strategy aligned with business objectives.
She has also worked with several other renowned names such as UNINOR, Future Group India, HSBC and Landmark Group.
Speaking on her elevation, Nair expressed her excitement, “I see a promising future ahead for the Group in India, and it would be my endeavour to foster an inclusive, innovative, and high-performance culture that will help further accelerate our growth. Our people are our greatest asset, and I am committed to fostering a culture that supports their growth, engagement, and overall well-being.”

A science graduate, Nair holds an MBA from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalya, Bhopal.
