After a successful stint of 12 long years with Landmark Group, Alex Mathew has moved on to join KPN Farm Fresh as chief human resources officer (CHRO).
Mathew, who has over two decades of experience, began his professional journey with CMC as centre head, in 2000. For five years he handled centre operations, based out of Secunderabad. He then co-founded a company offering services in human resources, called Azsure IT Services. He served as managing partner for the next four years. He was also senior consultant for DOOR Training and Consulting India for about three and a half years.
From 2009 to 2011, he played senior manager-human resources, at Telenor. His next stop was Reliance Communications, where he joined as AGM-Human Resources, based out of Bangalore.
The year 2014 saw him joining Max Fashion India as head-corporate HR (Max), and head-HR (Easybuy). Five years into this role, he was elevated to the position of head of human resources.
In February 2012, he accepted the role of head-talent transformation, at Landmark Group. The assignment saw him working out of the Greater Bangalore area for a little less than three years. Then came another promotion, which lifted him to the post of head of human resources. By April 2023, he had attained the position of head- talent and culture, Landmark Group, India & head HR, Max and Easybuy.
An alumnus of Osmania University, from where he graduated in commerce and also completed an MBA, Mathew is known to be a warm and approachable person with an eye for detail. Those who have worked with him appreciate the positive energy around this thorough professional.
