Schindler India, a vertical transportation solutions company has roped in Jyoti Abrol for the position of senior vice president-HR, head-HR. She moves from Thermo Fisher India, where she held the position of director-HR for over two years.
Abrol is a commerce graduate from Sri Ram College of Commerce and has completed an MBA from the SP Jain Institute of Management and Research. Her professional journey began with HSBC, as relationship manager, in 2001. Two years into this role, she moved to Citibank, as assistant manager.
February of 2012 saw her joining Hindustan Times as manager for a very short stint, before taking up the role of senior consultant at Inclusion Consulting.
Her next stop was Monsanto Company, where she joined as HR technology specialist-APAC and EMEA. Less than three years into this role, she was elevated to HR business partner. After a successful four and a half year long tenure at Monsanto, Abrol moved on to join Thermo Fisher Scientific, as HR lead-multiple business teams, D&I lead. For five years, she successfully led HR for large commercial and multi-disciplinary business functions, consulting closely with India leadership and .business stakeholders. She also led the D&I strategy for the country, deploying several employee resource groups (ERGs) to develop and execute initiatives with a short-term impact and long-term culture change. In May 2022, she was elevated to the position of director-HR.
