Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories has appointed Neha Jain as its new group-HR director for Asia, Middle East, Africa, ANZ, and Innovation + Emerging Markets COE. In her new role, Jain will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive people strategy aligned with business objectives.
She will also spearhead HR integration, HR technology strategy and HR transformation in these geographies and countries including any M&A due diligence, in-licensing and out-licensing opportunities.
Neha Jain has transitioned to Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories from GSK, where she served as the general manager and lead-HRBP for Vaccines, Specialty, and Global CEP (Classic and Estd Products). In her role at GSK, where she played a key role in driving the people aspects of transformation and change management initiatives at GSK. She joined the company in the year 2019 as India reward head.
Her professional journey also includes stints with renowned names such as Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Barclays, Credit Suisse, Citibank and TCS.
Jain joined TCS in the year 2004 as its HR executive-career, compensation and performance management team. After two years, in 2006, she moved to Citibank, leading all its compensation and benefits initiatives as its manager.
Her next stop was Credit Suisse, where she joined as its AVP-HR in the year 2008. In her tenure at Credit Suisse India, Jain led HR activities for private banking & asset management, serving as HR Business Partner for the Investment Banking division. Her responsibilities included overseeing hiring processes for MDs and directors, realigning compensation structures, and managing performance evaluations. She spearheaded initiatives such as diversity & inclusion and Philanthropy missions at a franchise level, and served as the primary contact for campus recruitment nationwide.
In the year 2011, he joined Johnson and Johnson as consultant-total rewards. She collaborated with the regional total rewards team at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on compensation, benefits, perquisites, and allowance programmes/policies across consumer, medical devices & diagnostics, and pharmaceutical businesses in the India cluster, Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia.
In 2014 she joined Novartis as its consultant-HR and in the year 2017 she joined Barclays as its vice president.
She has also done short internships with companies such as Accenture and Tata Motors in the initial days for her career.
Jain holds an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
