According to a report by the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), the number of job seekers has gone up to 6.9 per cent, which is the highest since 2016. Arunachal Pradesh is the latest state to announce 7th Pay Commission benefits. Lakhs of government employees in the State will enjoy an increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) from seven per cent to nine per cent.
