As part of the steady expansion of its presence in Britain, Mphasis has launched its new innovation hub in London. The hub will serve as a Centre of Excellence for the software and technology solutions company, with focus on developing cutting-edge Quantum Computing and AI solutions. Additionally, the company plans to double its team size by 2027, and this hub is a step towards achieving that objective. It is set to draw local as well as global talent.
Located in the Tower 42 building in London, this innovation hub for Mphasis Europe is proof of the company’s interest in advancing quantum technologies within Britain and worldwide. The facility will focus on developing quantum computing, quantum cryptography and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. These solutions will address critical industry challenges such as algorithmic underwriting, catastrophic risk modelling and fraud detection. Through this hub, Mphasis hopes help businesses in Britain and around the world harness the benefits of quantum technologies.
Britain has, in recent times, increased its capital infusion into the field of quantum technologies. In fact, the investment is hoped to be doubled over the next decade. In addition to AI, semiconductors, future telecoms and AI, Britain’s list of priorities has quantum technologies on the top.
Earlier this year, in May 2024, had launched its global centre of excellence (CoE) for advanced computing, in Hyderabad. Located at Phoenix Infocity, this centre focuses on co-creating and delivering next-generation solutions powered by AI, Gen-AI, quantum computing, and more, for clients worldwide.
