Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, has declared an 8 per cent salary increase for 1,19,861 employees in levels 1, 2 and 3.The hike will be given to those employed through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRNL).
Reportedly, this raise will take effect immediately from 1 July.
The announcement was made during a meeting with various labour unions and HKRNL employees, alongside the Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh. Saini emphasised that the recruitment process under HKRNL has been conducted transparently, with a total of 71,012 employees in level 1, 26,915 in level 2, and 21,934 in level 3.
The government further ensured reservation benefits for Scheduled Caste and Backward Class youth among its employees. These employees are appointed under a contractual deployment policy, and are provide with more stability and security than previous systems.
Moreover, the government has ensured other benefits such as timely salaries and benefits such as EPF and ESI for HKRNL employees. The Nigam now supplies skilled manpower to various departments and private establishments.
Saini assured that the current government stands firmly with its employees, providing necessary support in unfortunate incidents, reflecting the administration’s commitment to worker welfare and rights.
