Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with over 1 million followers on LinkedIn features once again on the list of most-viewed CEOs in India. This is the third edition of LinkedIn Power Profiles in India.

“For me, it is pure expression of what I feel. Everything else, agreement and disagreement, is merely another point of view, Prabir Jha.”

Jha who was also felicitated By LinkedIn at his office a few days ago for managing to gather over a lakh followers, says, “I am happily surprised to see myself on the list the third year in a row! I guess people across the world connect with a lot of what I write, and follow my thoughts.”

“For me, it is pure expression of what I feel. Everything else, agreement and disagreement, is merely another point of view,” he adds.

    Nathan SV

Another sought after thought leader, an industry stalwart and a LinkedIn Power Profile, Nathan from Deloitte, tells us what it means to be one of the Power Profiles.

“It means you find ways to be of help and support to others and learn from others on LinkedIn as much as you learn from those around you. It just makes you more responsible and grateful, SV Nathan.”

He says, “It means you find ways to be of help and support to others and learn from others on LinkedIn as much as you learn from those around you. It just makes you more responsible and grateful.”

    Yuvaraj Srivastava

Sharing his delight on being listed amongst the LinkedIn Power Profiles in HR, Srivastava from MakeMyTrip.com says, “I am pleasantly surprised to be a part of this coveted list. I am sure something went right for me — may be my regular contribution of professional information and being socially active on online and offline platforms through various media.”

“I surely also owe this to the organisations I have worked for and the opportunities given by them. Professionals not only need personal capability to deliver, but also a great set of people to work with, and progressive and empowering employers who allow professional freedom,” Yuvaraj Srivastava.

“I surely also owe this to the organisations I have worked for and the opportunities given by them. Professionals not only need personal capability to deliver, but also a great set of people to work with, and progressive and empowering employers who allow professional freedom. I believe that I have been fortunate on these accounts. While I say this, I do know that I am still a humble student of HR and learn every day through processes of reverse mentoring and peer buddy to be better in what I do,” Srivastava adds.

On the release of the LinkedIn Power Profiles 2016, Akshay Kothari, head of LinkedIn India, posted in a blog, “With over 450 million members worldwide, 100 million in APAC and 37 million in India, we have all the more reason to celebrate professionals worldwide and in India. We do just that with LinkedIn Power Profiles 2016.”

“It is a celebration of members who are not only great at what they do, but have also invested in their professional identity on LinkedIn, to become the most viewed professionals in their fields,” he stated in his blog. Kothari believes that the stories of these Power Profiles will “inspire India’s professionals to expand their vision of all they can achieve.”
