Domino’s Pizza has recently announced the appointment of Maureen Pittenger as executive vice president and chief human resources officer, effective July 8, 2024. In her new role, Pittenger will report directly to CEO Russell Weiner and oversee the company’s human resources strategies and functions.
Pittenger brings over two decades of HR expertise to Domino’s. She joins from Dana Inc., where she served as senior vice president and CHRO since 2022. Her tenure at Dana began in 2019 when she was appointed vice president of corporate human resources.
Known for her proactive approach to enhancing employee performance and motivation, Pittenger has been instrumental in recruitment, talent retention, and promoting diversity. She has successfully devised and implemented employee relations programmes and human resources policies on both regional and global scales.
Pittenger’s career also includes significant HR leadership roles at Visteon Corp, where she began in 2001 as a human resources associate focusing on labour relations. In 2002, she was promoted to human resources manager for salaried personnel, facilitating employee counselling sessions and overseeing disciplinary actions, including terminations.
By 2003, Pittenger had advanced to the role of human resources manager, where she developed a new compensation system, completed all compensation planning, and presented initiatives to senior vice presidents and over 380 employees. Her 17-year tenure at Visteon saw her hold various leadership roles, cementing her reputation as a dynamic HR leader.
Pittenger holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University.
Founded in 1960, Domino’s Pizza operates over 20,700 stores in more than 90 markets worldwide. For the trailing four quarters ended March 24, 2024, the company’s global retail sales exceeded $18.5 billion.
