Amidst the pandemic situation when it appears that jobs are hard to come by, Nestle India has rolled out an initiative to provide internship opportunities to 1000 youngsters in the final year of graduation, irrespective of the discipline they belong to. This is the Company’s way of significantly contributing to the upskilling of India’s youth.

“Along with the upskilling programme, the youngsters will be paid a stipend and will also be awarded a certificate on successful completion of the project,” states Narayanan.

For the post graduate students, the focus will be upon upskilling and enabling the interns to thrive in workplaces, which they would be joining at a later date.

The programme will commence from 1st August 2020 and will continue for four months, upskilling almost 250 interns every month till end of November.
